Every garden needs mulch to retain moisture, supress weeds, regulate soil temperature and add nutrients to the soil. Plants Whitsunday stock a wide variety of organic mulch and barks. Pebbles can also be used as a mulch, however it does not add value to the soil.

  ECONO MULCH
Don’t let the name fool you. This may be cheap but it is fantastic for the soil. Made from a clean mix of local chipped timber and leaves, it is great for the soil. It does break down quicker than the pine barks.

  HARDWOOD CHIP
Hardwood chip is an affordable solution to long lasting mulch. Larger chunks of hardwood timber have great colour.

  HAY BALES
Hay bales are very convenient if you don’t have a ute. Easy to handle. Available in either pangola or cane trash.

CYPRESS
Cypress mulch is known for its termite deterrant properties. A nice smell and good colour.

  50MM PINE BARK
Pine barks offer a long lasting, deep rich colour. Available in 3 x sizes to suit your taste.

  25MM PINE BARK
Pine barks offer a long lasting, deep rich colour. Available in 3 x sizes to suit your taste. The 25mm is the most popular size.

  12MM PINE BARK
Pine barks offer a long lasting, deep rich colour. Available in 3 x sizes to suit your taste. The 12mm offers a very classy finish. It is also used as a potting media for bromeliads.
