Adonidia Merrillii

Adonidia Merrillii also known as Christmas palm is an easily grown small landscape palm. Slow growing makes this palm good for focal points in small tropical gardens. A more mature palm can make an elegant statement. Plant in a location that isn’t subject to cold winds or frost performing best in full sun. Keep in mind that in too much shade the trunks grow skinny and the fronds thin. Let the fronds drop off naturally as they brown. Adonidias are easily grown in large pots or planter boxes.
